How To Measure Neck

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Measure around your neck at its widest point.
2. This should be at the height where your buttoned shirt collar would sit.
3. Leave room for one finger between the neck and the tape.
How To Measure Sleeve Length

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Relax your arm by your side.
2. Measure from the pointy edge of your shoulder (usually where the seams meet on your shirt).
3. Have the tape follow down your arm towards the back of the elbow.
4. Use the elbow to anchor the tape. Continue to measure down the back of the arm to the wrist or watch-line (where your shirt cuff naturally finishes).
5. Ensure the measuring tape remains in contact with your arm at all times.
How To Measure Full Chest

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Lift your arms out to the side. Relax and do not puff out your chest.
2. Measure around the widest part of your chest and ensure the tape goes under the armpits, before dropping the arms.
3. Ensure the tape also covers the widest part of the back and does not slip down at the back.
4. The tape should follow around the widest part and usually crosses just above the nipples.
5. Leave room for one finger between the chest and the tape (the tape should not restrict normal breathing).
6. Please double check as this is an important measurement.
How To Measure Stomach

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Measure around the fullest/widest part of your stomach and back (usually just below the belly button).
2. Relax and do not suck in your stomach.
3. The tape should be level all the way around.
4. Leave room for one finger between the stomach and the tape (the tape should not restrict normal breathing).
How To Measure Waistband

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Measure around your waistband (at the point where you dress trouser would usually sit).
2. Ensure the tape makes contact with your skin, ideally around or just above your underpants elastic band.
3. Relax and do not suck in your stomach.
4. Leave room for one finger between the waist and the tape.
How To Measure Thigh

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Measure around the widest part of your thigh.
2. Usually this is at the highest point under the pant/trouser crotch.
3. Angle the tape slightly upwards to include the widest part of the hamstring.
4. Ensure the tape does not slip down at the back of the leg
5. Leave room for one finger between the thigh and the tape.
How To Measure Outside Leg

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Take this measurement barefoot. Stand straight, looking forward not down.
2. Measure from the top of your waistband (underpants elastic) along and down the outside of the leg to the floor.
3. Ensure the tape is held firm, straight and follows the outer mid-line of your leg and touches the floor.
How To Measure Jacket Sleeve

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Lay the jacket sleeve flat.
2. Measure from the point where the shoulder seam meets the top sleeve seam.
3. Have the tape follow down the middle of the sleeve to the end of the cuff.
4. Ensure the tape is held firm, straight and falls flat along the fabric.
How To Measure Trouser Half Waistband

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Lay the trouser flat and buttoned up.
2. Measure from edge to edge of the waistband by extending the tape along the lower seam of the waistband.
3. Ensure that you follow the contour of the seam, the trouser is flat and that the tape follows along the fabric.
How To Measure Trouser Thigh

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
1. Lay the trouser sideways and flat.
2. Fold one trouser leg up to expose the crotch and inseam.
3. Measure horizontally just underneath the crotch by extending the tape from one side to the other.
4. Ensure the trouser is flat, the tape is held firm, straight and follows along the fabric.

1. Lay the trouser sideways and flat.
2. Measure from the top of the waistband down the outer seam to the end of the cuff.
3. Ensure the trouser is flat, the tape is held firm, straight and follows along the outer seam.
